A Globalist used a Category 1-4 free night certificate that was expiring in a week, on a night when the cash member price was $240, and was upgraded before arrival to a 15th-floor corner King Deluxe, the highest non-suite category and about 50 percent larger than standard rooms with a wall of floor-to-ceiling windows; suites were showing in the app but he did not ask and was not offered one. Globalist breakfast at Harborwood allowed ordering anything from the menu including espresso drinks, with food and gratuity comped without asking, a requested 4 p.m. late checkout was extended to 5 p.m., two free drink tickets were provided in place of a club lounge, and free parking was available, though check-in recognition was marginal and he had to ask about benefits, and the $20 destination fee felt absurd for downtown.

UpgradeHigher room category, offered without askingRoomRoom (cash, $130/night member rate) → King room with balcony, room 1104, 11th floorBreakfastÀ la carte only
A Globalist paid a $130 per night member rate at this Category 4 hotel, where points would have cost 15,000 per night, and at check-in the agent thanked him for his status, apologised that no suite upgrades were available and assigned a king room with a balcony on the 11th floor as the best upgrade available. The $22.60 destination fee was waived for Globalist status. Globalist breakfast at Harborwood covered one main course and one drink per person with no further restrictions, and the shakshuka, avocado toast and ropa vieja were all praised. He liked the 350 sq ft room and the hotel overall despite weak shower water pressure, while doubting he would return to Las Olas as a destination.
