A family of four stayed October 26 to 30 in Rio Grande, booking a standard garden-view two-queen room at off-peak pricing of 17,000 points per night, 68,000 points total for four nights. Using a Guest of Honor award, they were upgraded on arrival to an oceanfront double room, and the award also brought complimentary valet parking and a free breakfast buffet. Four drink vouchers were handed over at check-in and water bottles were restocked in the mini-fridge daily. The resort charges a 16% gratuity on every tab, so four pina coladas at the swim-up bar cost $77, and only two to three restaurants were open in the off-season. Her own elite status is not stated, so it is recorded as unknown.

A Globalist stayed three nights with her husband in a 685 sq ft one-king villa on a hosted visit. Check-in staff explained her Globalist benefits, highlighting 4 p.m. late checkout and complimentary breakfast, and the Water's Edge buffet breakfast was included in the stay. No upgrade outcome was stated for the villa. On the last full day the hotel surprised her with a fresh fruit plate as a thank-you for being a Globalist. She praised the service at Prime 787, Nori and the spa, where a last-minute massage was one of the best she had had recently, but found poolside drink service non-existent, and noted the 18% resort fee is steep although it is not charged on points bookings.
