UpgradeSuite, with a suite upgrade awardRoomStandard room with 2 queen beds (points, 20,000/night) → Hospitality Suite (753 sq ft)BreakfastBuffet only
A Globalist family of five spent three nights in late March 2025 on points at 20,000 per night for a standard two-queen room that was running $379 cash. A suite upgrade award confirmed the Hill Country Suite at booking, and after he asked whether any other suites were available the hotel moved them up again to a 753 sq ft Hospitality Suite selling for over $1,440 per night, with a connecting parlor, Murphy bed, second bathroom and patio. Globalist breakfast at Springhouse Cafe was waived at checkout, saving the family several hundred dollars over the stay, though the upgraded suite was not ready until about 3:30 p.m. despite an 11:30 a.m. arrival, and a room-service order carried a $20 delivery fee. He said they would definitely return.

UpgradeSuite, with a suite upgrade awardRoomStandard room (cash, low $200s/night) → Suite (room 3101, third floor)BreakfastÀ la carte only
Staying two mid-week summer nights as a jumping-off point for SeaWorld San Antonio across the street, the reviewer paid a cash rate in the low $200s and spent 6,000 points per night to confirm a suite at booking rather than burning a confirmed suite award, ending up in third-floor suite 3101 with a separate living room and a large balcony shared with neighbouring rooms. Globalist breakfast was billed to the room with no stated limit and the charges were removed by the front desk without him having to ask, and parking was waived on the part-points stay. He praised uniformly friendly staff and the heated pools and lazy river and said they would certainly return, but noted the 1993-built property felt dated ahead of its renovation, the in-room Wi-Fi was awful, room service was only okay in paper and plastic, and there is no club lounge. His Globalist status is strongly evidenced by the complimentary breakfast and parking treatment rather than stated in a single line.
