    A Globalist stayed three nights in late October 2024 with his wife at this Category 1 hotel, booking a standard room for 5,000 points per night when cash was $116 per night before tax. He called My Hyatt Concierge and applied a suite upgrade award to confirm a Regency Suite King on the 15th floor ahead of arrival. The buffet breakfast was complimentary because the Regency Club was closed during the visit, late checkout was offered but turned down for an early departure, and chocolates were waiting in the suite. Service was friendly but the front desk gave no information proactively, the exterior sign was missing, and torn hallway carpet and other cosmetic maintenance issues kept the property rough around the edges, though the couple thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

    A Globalist booked a 344 sq ft Double Room for $72 per night on a seven-night stay and applied a suite upgrade award to the whole stay, moving up to the 797 sq ft Regency Suite, a room type that typically costs $300 or more per night. Staff thanked him for his Globalist status at check-in and confirmed the upgrade, and he was given Regency Club access, with evening food and free wine and beer, though the club was not open all day. The complimentary Globalist breakfast buffet at Peregrina Bistro ran until noon and he rated it among the best hotel breakfasts he has had. Downsides were a noisy air conditioner and spotty Wi-Fi, but he praised the staff and value and called the hotel a strong choice for earning elite nights.
