A Globalist booked a 1 King Bed room on a member rate at $201 including fees per night for a two-night December 2024 stay and noticed the day before check-in that he had been upgraded to the newly renovated Presidential Suite, room 315, an apartment-like suite with dining area, kitchen and separate bedroom. With the Glass Woods Tavern closed, Globalist breakfast was comped room service with an entree and juice each day and no stated dollar cap, though the restaurant messed up the orders both mornings and the charges were still on the folio at checkout until an agent removed them. The hotel has no lounge, which he wished for, late checkout was offered but not needed, and he praised the central New Brunswick location near Rutgers and the generous elite treatment and said he would definitely return.
