A Globalist couple spent a mid-February 2025 weekend at standard-room cash rates of $195 per night, $445.10 for two nights with taxes and fees, and used an expiring Suite Upgrade Award to confirm the Sonoma Suite, the hotel's standard suite, sold at $325, staying in room 226; the suite itself was praised. Globalist status waived the $35 daily destination fee and brought complimentary buffet breakfast at Railroad Stop via vouchers, though a 20 percent gratuity was auto-added each morning before being erased and bills arrived as soon as they started eating. A complimentary bottle of Rickshaw cabernet sauvignon was offered at check-in instead of the bottled water they expected, and parking and late checkout were never discussed. Check-in was near-silent and unwelcoming, housekeeping left all lights and both TVs on after a visit, doors and frames throughout were visibly damaged, and they said they would not return or recommend the hotel despite a post-stay apology email.
