A Globalist family flew in on New Year's Day for four nights at the tail end of winter break, booking a standard king room entirely on points for 232,000 points against a comparable cash rate of about $5,233, and paying cash on arrival for the children at $150 per child per night rather than 10,000 points. Despite being told upgrades were limited in peak season, they received a complimentary upgrade to an ocean-view room, and Globalists are automatically placed in a club-level room with club lounge check-in, a dedicated butler and club-only bars, plus 30% discounts on paid upgrades, cabanas, spa services and wine. A welcome amenity was left in the room. The resort was at full occupancy yet never felt crowded, food was better than average for an all-inclusive without being a foodie destination, and the family said they would happily return.
