A Globalist stayed in early September at this Category 6 hotel, averaging about 23,000 points per night against a cash rate of about $400 for the base room, and used a Suite Upgrade Award to confirm the Ocean View Park Suite, a roughly 1,100 sq ft suite selling for about $1,300 per night. Breakfast in the Dining Room was included for all guests, combining a substantial buffet with a la carte dishes plus coconuts cut to order and a roving spiced coffee cart, 4 p.m. late checkout was given automatically, and a bottle of South African red wine, a fruit bowl, a cut coconut and desserts were waiting on arrival. He loved the Stone Town waterfront location and service and gave it a thumbs up, but called the internet some of the worst he had seen in a decade, with the whole hotel disconnected for the better part of a day, and said a return visit would probably be split with another part of the island.
