UpgradeSuite, with a suite upgrade awardRoomStandard room (points, 18,000/night) → Bowmont Suite (Sky Suite)BreakfastBuffet only
A Globalist booked four nights at this Category 4 property on points at 18,000 per night and used a suite upgrade certificate, ending up in the Bowmont Suite, also called the Sky Suite, which he rated one of the largest and best-looking Hyatt suites he has seen, with separate bedroom and living room, a walk-in closet and a large bathroom with tub and waterfall shower, though there was no air conditioning, only a pedestal fan. There was no front-desk recognition of Globalist status, the room was not ready until about 2 p.m. despite an early check-in request because the hotel cited a 3 p.m. check-in policy, and he had to ask about free bottled water and was pointed to the fridge. Breakfast at Charlie's, with an egg station, omelettes, waffles and buffet counters, disappointed over four days apart from the porridge, with chewy eggs and waffles, a poor cappuccino and utensils he said smelled off, but he still called the estate a must-visit and urged Globalists to use a suite upgrade certificate for the Bowmont Suite.
