Feb 2022Globalist
RoomStandard suite (points, 13,000/night) → Standard suite, third floor
A Globalist spent the final two nights of a Presidents Day weekend trip in February 2022 at this historic Excelsior Springs property, redeeming points for a standard suite at 13,000 points per night and calling it a steal. The third-floor suite was spacious and charming with modern amenities and a rustic feel, comfortable for the family though far from the most luxurious room they had stayed in. His Globalist status ensured free breakfast each morning. His wife loved a spa treatment, they used the heated outdoor hot tub, and the nightly paranormal tour led by a longtime employee was a highlight. He called the two-night stay a fantastic deal on points and the property a standout of the trip.
