UpgradeJunior suite, offered without askingRoomTwo rooms (Hyatt Family Rate, cash, under $400/night for both) → Junior suite connecting to a twin roomBreakfastBuffet onlyLoungeGiven
A family of four booked two rooms on the Hyatt Family Rate in the off-season for under $400 a night combined, treating the low cash rate as a points-earning opportunity instead of redeeming points. They asked for connecting rooms and received a courtesy upgrade of one room to a junior suite, giving a comfortable setup for the family. The Globalist breakfast was a well-stocked buffet with Spanish and Western options plus the option to order two menu items, all fresh and well prepared, and club lounge access with afternoon tapas helped bridge the gap to Spain's late dinner hours. The hotel is beautiful and modern but a bit outside the centre, the outdoor pool is seasonal, and the indoor spa pool restricts children. Globalist status is recorded from the Globalist breakfast and lounge described rather than stated outright.
