UpgradeSuiteRoomBasic room → Regency Executive Suite Twin City ViewBreakfastBuffet only
A couple stayed one night in late August 2025 at this Category 4 hotel and received an upgrade from a basic room to a Regency Executive Suite Twin City View, with two beds pushed together to make a king, a separate living room and a massive closet linking the bedroom to the bathroom, though the city view was unremarkable. The reviewer did not state his own elite status. Breakfast was a paid buffet at $28 plus tax with an impressive spread including a separate gluten-free section and labelled vegan items. Self-parking was 25 euros a day and pets cost 20 euros a night, amenities were modest, and the location in L'Hospitalet between the airport and the centre, 25 to 30 minutes from the main attractions, was the main downside, making it better for an airport stay than for sightseeing.

UpgradeJunior suite, offered without askingRoomRoom (type not specified in review, Hyatt Leverage rate) → Regency Suite, 24th floorBreakfastBuffet onlyLoungeGiven
Staying as a Globalist for what he called the first and maybe only time, after a brief loophole upgrade, the reviewer was upgraded to a Regency Suite on the 24th floor, a junior-style suite with no separate living room but a TV wall dividing the space, a jet tub and no sign of wear. Staff gave a warm welcome with a duty manager chat and a full introduction to breakfast and the club lounge while escorting him to the lift. He took breakfast as a buffet in the main restaurant, a classic Spanish spread with cured meats that he rated decent though he missed churros, and used the huge fifth-floor Regency Club, with snacks, beer and wine through the day and a 5 to 7 p.m. happy hour with hot items including fried meatballs and beef stew. The gym was very small and unimpressive, and the pool cost even Globalists 10 euros a day, which he did not pay. He was impressed by Globalist treatment overall, was downgraded back to Explorist shortly after, and recommended the hotel only for a first or last night because it is 30 minutes by metro from the centre despite being handy for the airport.
