UpgradeBetter viewRoomDeluxe Room (corporate rate) → Deluxe Room with Jubilee Gardens viewLoungeGiven

Full hotel, so no Big Ben or Thames view, but among the largest big-city base rooms they had seen. Will return despite unreliable WiFi.

Sparkling wine at check-in, a 4pm checkout on request, London map wallpaper, a great shower and good lounge table service. Would come back.

UpgradeNoneRoomcheapest room x2 (corporate rate) → same category, London Eye and park viewBreakfastÀ la carte only

Classy and well kept. Without the points to earn, though, a Premier Inn in the same building would feel similar for much less.

  4. May 2022Titanium Elite

Roomunknown → Exec guest room with Thames view

Generous lounge food and pours, but a stuffy room with weak AC and uncomfortable beds. Won't return at over 500 pounds a night.

UpgradeSuite, with a suite upgrade awardRoomunknown → Balcony Suite

Over Christmas to New Year 2018, the balcony views were wonderful despite scaffolding on the clock tower. A Thames-side location and decent elite recognition.
