Staying one night in September 2026 on a quick business trip while working to requalify for Globalist, the reviewer booked a King Bed room on a Member Rate for $237 plus taxes and fees and arrived around 2 p.m. to find his room ready and upgraded to a 1 King Bed Deluxe, room 602, which the check-in agent said was the best available. The agent also proactively offered late checkout, which he did not need and turned down. He had no time to use the amenities but liked the rooftop pool and good-sized fitness center, found the staff friendly and the room spacious, and said he enjoyed the stay and would book again. His Globalist status is evidenced by his requalification comment and the upgrade and late-checkout offer, rather than stated as a direct status claim.

UpgradeHigher room category, offered without askingRoom1 King Bed room (points, 12,000/night, Category 3) → 1 King Bed Deluxe room (room 704)BreakfastRestaurant or F&B creditWelcome amenityGiven
A Globalist booked three nights at this Category 3 property for 12,000 points per night, against a $180 member cash rate for the standard 1 King Bed room, and was upgraded to a 1 King Bed Deluxe room on the top guest floor, room 704, worth $197 per night. At check-in staff thanked him for his Globalist loyalty and handed over the daily free waters, which unusually came with cookies, and as a Globalist he could take a free drink and a free breakfast item at the Watercraft market each day, charged to the room and then erased from the bill, leaving a $0 folio at checkout. The hotel has no on-site parking, using a nearby structure it cannot charge to the room, so free Globalist parking could not be offered. He liked the renovated nautical-themed hotel, friendly staff and rooftop pool a lot and said he would easily stay again.
